“Being an asshole”

Ok, that’s what I call it, not “Ordering from the secret menu”, but it’s cool to see someone write up something I’ve been doing for years. The other huge benefit to ordering something not on the menu, or even making a small change to something you order off the menu is the fact that they HAVE to make you fresh food, they can’t just grab you the BigMac that’s been sitting under the heat lamps. I always feel like a punk when I ask for a custom order if the place looks busy, but I’m sure the regular employees don’t mind too much, if anything, it breaks up the routine a little. I’m sure the managers know it effects their bottom line though and probably frown on it. As always, shit runs down hill.

Found this from one of my favorite cesspools of all things interwebz. Reminds me of a video I saw a while back of a guy who ordered a salad, and a chicken sandwich off the dollar menu to make a chicken salad, and then a sundae and an apple pie to make an apple pie sundae. Sounds like a good meal for $4. Can’t find the video unfortunately, I’ll update if I do. I like that one because for some reason, chicken is one of the few foods I trust at McDonalds, and hey, it’s got salad in the name, it’s got to be good for you. I’m not really sure why, now that I think about it. Something about it being difficult to fuck up chicken, but this IS McDonalds we’re talking about.
